Gunma weekend and hajimete yuki!

Oh goodness what a sight to see.
I met snow for the first time! It was very cold. Much colder than I thought! My ears got some burn from cold winds...
We went up akagiyama (赤城山) in gunma! We had to put chains on the tires just to make it through the snow! I wish I took photos of the village that was there. It was so special. There was a shrine there too. With a big red bridge going across the lake. I got too cold so I went back to the car but "him" got some great shot of the inside! He hasn't sent them though...

赤城
"早く!寒いすぎ!!"
So beautiful. After 10 minutes there started to be a snow storm so I wouldn't have been able to take this photo! You can see it coming down the hill!

Akagiyama is an old volcano and there is a lake where the opening used to be. It was so amazing for me to walk on a frozen lake! "Him" kept tripping me over so I fell a lot. But it's okay because he kept slipping on the icey parts and he ended up with a sore bum!

Serves you right! Baka

赤城山
My nose is too high it almost froze off!
Ice fishing!

Earlier that day we also went いちご狩り\(//∇//)\🍓🍓🍓(strawberry picking)
It was very fun and we ate a lot! It was all you can eat for one hour! Wow! We ended up leaving after 30 mins as we are too many and it became like sugar high.
Double tip berry for couples!
So red! So delicious!

I fell asleep in the car on the way home. But I woke up for a moment to get a shot of this biiiiig tori!
It's so beautiful in the subset.

Ooh so sleepy!
Oyasu!♡

Okinomiyaki Monday.

Today was a sleepy day. I spent the entire day in bed as I think I have the flu... I managed to be Kara kon free and suppin all day! Σ( ̄。 ̄ノ)ノ
"Him" was at work until late as always so once I managed to awake at about 8 I could cook and clean. Today wasn't lonely so much as we have a delightful guest!

Cleo! She's so sweet...\(//∇//)\

We did most of our napping together and then went to meet "him" at Lawson to gather ingredients for okinomiyaki.

We made two kinds!!!
Normal and

Mochi cheese!!

It was delicious and we ate two of them ("him" being the glutton eating one and a bit to himself) we were both quite full. But we also needed desert! Oreos!!! They were delicious and "him" ate a whole pack to himself plus a few from my pack. Tabechatta as always! I also tried some new 100¥ miso soup "him" found in Lawson. It was meant to have cockle in it (not that I found any) and was white miso paste. Not the most delicious. I would recommend you just make your own cockle miso (if you're into that kind of thing)

Table spoon of White miso
2 cups Dashi
Cockles
Konbu

You can adjust the measurements for flavour of course. Add anything you like too. Let me know if you find something good! (^O^)

Okinomiyaki was just
Okinomiyaki mix
Half a cabbage
200g pork (thin slice and dice)
3 square mochi (diced)
Hand full of cheese
4 eggs
3 cups of water

I think "him" added some mentaiko at some point but I didn't notice so it was rather mottainai.

Cleo enjoyed the smell quite a lot! (^O^)

Sankyu for leading!

First post!

So this is my first post! I guess I'll start with an introduction. My name is sere and I'm Aussie living in Japan. Tokyo to be exact! I have many fun adventures of fashion, kidlets and food. With my trusty sidekick (known as "him") I will write out my tales and adventures in Tokyo and beyond!
